Did the IOC get it wrong by including sport climbing? Good comments section below this article there anyways.

Nice to see a silver medal winner here that is a fellow Brit! Not really for definite sure I know what bouldering actually really is though? I am guessing rock climbing, but involving clambering all around boulders maybe then, yes?

' Bouldering - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouldering

Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed without the use of ropes or harnesses. While it can be done without any equipment whatsoever, most climbers use climbing shoes to help secure footholds, chalk to keep their hands dry, and bouldering mats to prevent injuries from falls.'

oh, ok! A million miles off really then I was, lol.

Are adventure sports like climbing just going to be far too boring to watch?

More of the latest on this issue here with some actual specifics of what exactly we may well expect to see even! Well, at least they do seem to have spent a good deal of time thinking it all through, I must say.

So what if outdoors climbers will not like the Olympic version? Does it not more come down to trying to make a climbing format watchable for the public spectators. And that is a lot easier rigging up camera equiment indoors than halfway up a rock face surely, where it otherwise would have to be lots of long shots from below presumeably.
