My cousin David's latest collection featured in the Telegraph has a bit of an outdoorsy bent to it!

I particularly liked the man diving in to a puddleof water. Also the hiking over a head of broccoli was good. Very entertaining.

I thought it was going to be large scale art; possibly 'GPS art'... It's more micro art, photographed with a macro lens... Nicely photographed with good use of depth of field.

Does he make the little figures, or adapt existing ones? I seem to remember modifying Airfix HO/OO soldiers to change their poses...

ha! Not sure about that, Major Cynic, I think David's a little embarrassed by it!

Captain - he buys the wee figures and adapts them. Don't know where he gets them from but they cover all walks of life including a pole dancer! He's done some fun stuff with Star Wars toys as well, especially imperial walkers.

Excellent - I would be interested in seeing some of his Star Wars stuff - my 4 year old grandson is a fan.

Definitely nothing to be embarrassed over, being in a national newspaper! I think his work is rather inspiring myself. Please give him a pat on the back from me Kate, next time you see him!

Sand Dancer, here's David's Star Wars stuff, on his website.

Darn, that's the link to his portfolio, then you'll need to click on the Star Wars tab!
