well my new pet hate is coombs moss NNW from Buxton about 1.5km it looks like a nice hill walk about 3 to 4 miles in length but what my 25000 scale OS map does not show it is all dry stone walls with razer wire or barbed wire and electric wire yes it is public access land. now i know what hell looks like. thats i my gripe out of the way . i have saved you trouble of walking it if you are thinking its a nice route towards edale dont do it

Good, well presented gripe though! Lol! Thanks for giving the rest of us a heads up on this. Perhaps someone will take it up with the Ramblers to sort out that dangerous way highlighted here! Such access problems should be reported directly to the Ramblers' central offices through their own website. Or direct via the local Ramblers group on the area ok.

I think too for the Lake District that Friends of the Lake District are interested in being infirmed of such access problems as well actually.

I do know by the way that this is Peak District. But they must have their own friends of group here no doubt. Definitely good choice of words there, Martin! Over the top as in the Western Front trenches I think, lol.

Let us hope karma will let you win some nice new gear on here in the competitions or by signing up free to that new loyalty card from Cotswold perhaps maybe. And that card enters you, without spending a single penny, into their gear prize giveaways ok. Best of luck! Meethinks you deserve it.

No need to do that - I've only come at it from Coombs and it's been fine. Just wanted to know if something had changed.
