Has anyone worked out how to stop satic in technical tops? I don't tumble dry anything, but if I wear a merino wool layer with a fleece (or any other top from Rohan for that matter) I get a major static discharge when taking it off.

Merino wool will not produce static when worn over or under other wool products.

Otherwise I'm afraid I don't think there's anything you can do to stop it happening with synthetic fabrics.

    I wouldn't recommend fabric conditioner.

Fabric conditioner on any fleece will help. It will not affect the fleece at all.

Or wear wool. Or paramo. Or silk. Or cashmere. A silk/cashmere blend is very nice.
