might aswell just stick your mid layer in a dry bag and be done with it, not the weight of the thing its just the fact it will cost like 15 or 20 pound and be one more thing to look after during your adventure into the wild...the WILD I tell you haha

aye good idea, what do you do if you dont have a mid layer to spare because youre already wearing it, or you want to put it on to go outside ?

Back to William's question of where might I find such a thing? There are birthdays coming up, this might be a possibility...

The 44g Exped one at least is in stock at ultralight outdoors gear. That one actually took a long time (~1 year) between being trailed and just starting to appear now.

The Mammut one isn't obviously about via google or on Mammut's website so I guess a bit yet.

Had a quick search cant find it,only the older model, not an item thats needed granted.

Ive often chucked layers in a nice wee thermarest pillow reversible stuffsac thingy

it does a job but not very supportive and u wont always have layers to use, looks a great handy little item if its under £20 and only 39g wots not to like

must confess im a sucker for this kind of thing just bot a new Alpkit Lantern

when my old one is fine

I have the Montbell. Actually I have 2 Montbells. They are very comfy. This would have to be extremely comfy even if it is a few nanograms lighter. But I might just have to try it...

I did have an Ajungilak pillow, but my mother stole it and I've never been able to pinch it back.

I think it's available in early June, I shall check that and the other details and report back. If I don't fall asleep first that is...

Boots, waterproofs, rucsac with liner over the top (inside out if wet). A lightly inflated drybag or the exped shnozzel does for me.

    Dimensions?

...36cm x 22cm...about as comfy as any other inflatable pillow (e.g. like Expeds)

and the good news ...it is 39 grams.
