Not water proofed. On first use, even stepping on an inch deep puddles of water the boots were flooded, on checking the inside of the boots, white pieces of elastics were found breaking off, suspect these were the seam tapes. Unable to keep warm even dry. Thank you Teva, for these poor quality 2 pairs of boots, men & women.

'The uppers are waterproof and seam sealed'

Welcome Tom. If you don't come back you're not missing anything.

Well just back from Hokkaido, snow and ice only not puddles of water. Still the boots are wet to the inner insulated boots. Found now after using for a few days the seam seals are all torned and breaking up, believed that lets the moisture into the boots, TEVA needs to check all its boots on the seam tapes. The boots are difficult to put on, the good is it is very light.

Just back from Northern Sweden. These boots are a major disappointment. The design, build appearance, and weight plus the marketing spiel had me rushing to get a pair.

I wore them for 4 days and found that the removable inner boot gets wet with sweat (I presume as I was walking in snow in very cold conditions). This also wets the inner rubber of the boot itself which then means that one is walking about with very cold feet. I would suggest a design flaw here in that despite getting 2 sizes larger than I would normally get to allow for the inner boot plus appropriate sock, and to prevent a tight squeeze on the foot, that the thinsulate is far less effective than the tried and tested felt inner boot that I saw the local outdoor stores in the arctic sell with their boots.

So I agree with Tom Page. These boots are not fit for purpose.

Well, I tried to tell TEVA and the online site , I bought from, till today no reply. Anyhow, careful do not take ads and rush to buy. The boots are useless in all conditions. Thank you, TEVA.

I admire your restraint towards the self appointed OM police. We have to put up with these advertorials from the forum hosts in return for free access but I think it's fair enough to get user feedback
