I tried that once, much harder than anticepated but good fun nontheless and a great way to get around. No walk today except up the lane to the car and back, needed microspikes for that, especially trying to keep up with Pete's long legs .

There were a few out today but that track was there anyway - it's a disused railway. Good circuit of the woods, top of the hill & pick up a bit of pace down the golfcourse back home. Then to the cinema while the lads at a party. Gangster Squad. Unfortunately Sean Penn getting beaten up was sfx.

No more snow forecast here, still going to be fairly cold with some frost. Looks like I'll be back at work Monday unless we get another weather drama.

Its wine oclock now, time for a film, a chat or doing absolutely nothing, lovely .

@ar, I wish I knew, I could maybe make a few quid, "predicting" when it's likely to be bad.....

At the moment, according to Met. Office. two weather fronts, one from NNW, other from SE, have "met and become static". So the result is high winds, that not beening warmed by the sea, are keeping the temp. low, as in @+3c max. during day. The wind chill is effectivly keeping temp. below freezing, and as the temp. normally drops at night, it gets below freezing, the wind chill can make it "feel" like -8/10c.

The sky is reasonably clear tonight, so that means temp. will drop rapidly. Cloud cover helps to keep warmth 'up', acts like a duvet on your bed.............

    Rambling again !!

I do go on a bit at times................ Must remember

Above is a photo I took earlier today, not a lot of snow, it's not going down to the waters edge anyway.

    Wait a while,

At some stage the weather is supposed to head your way!

You could well get snow at low levels.

BBS, off to drag muts for last time tonight.
