Nope but we did think you two would be running off ahead of everyone and rolling around in all the mud together

People have this strange idea that I'm a fast and/or strong walker, and that I'm a feisty bastard. Ackshully, I'm a plodding old dodderer with a very shy retiring disposition - even though I'm impeccably turned out.

I'm going to have to skip this, I will either be away at work or possibly get home on the day before and an immediate departure would not be good for a convivial home life the following week.

I think Skip's secret is he's running on 48fps whereas the rest of us are still on 24fps. (for movie buffs )

Oh bring back the good old days, and what is it with these meet threads going off topic so often.

    Your to young to understand!

OK, in the olden days, we had things called 'records', sort of like a CD, but much bigger, dinner plate size. We had to use thing called" arecord player", to make the sound "recorded" audible.. They had different speeds, (RPM), to play different records.

When records where first made, they ran at a speed of 78rpm, later the speeds where dropped to 45/33 1/3 rpm. So if you played a 'record' at the wrong speed, it sounded faster, (like Sooty), or slower, whenevery thing was 'slooooooowed down'.

With CD's it doesn't happen today, they all play at the same speed.

Unless you have some expensive and specialised software, normally only used by music producers.

    HTH.
