After buying this pack in perfect condition from here it stayed in storage till I used it for a week around Spain, after which a week in Austria with a friends smaller pack proved my suspicions - while this is a great pack it is too big for my unfit self!

I'm selling it with a unused (it didn't rain once!) Pro-force waterproof cover, which at 80-90L fits comofortably over it with the extra stretch to cover anything oddly shaped you may attach to the outside of the pack.

The bag specifically is a L back size meaning it carries 73 rather than 70L if you look it up on the Osprey site, though by adjusting the placement of the shoulder straps I accomidated it to fit my M/L back size.

I'm looking for offers of around 70 including p+p.

Pictures below, if you would like more or have questions just PM me. I also have an unused black 80L dry sack if interested.

I might be interested Dominic but obviously I'd want to try the pack on. Whereabouts are you located?

    Ashington, north of Newcastle.

If you could get to me that would be fine, but as that seems very unlikely I would suggest trying on any osprey pack in a store if they don't have an Aether - the large back length should give you a good indication even if you can't try the specific pack, which you should be able to as it's fairly popular.

Oh, I was up that way for a week in June. But as you say, it's a bit far so I'll pass on this one, thanks.

A Large. As they are adjustable I moved them to their smallest setting and it just fitted me, as I am a M/L in Osprey packs. On their site they have proper sizing info.

Also, odd question to ask a guy (!) but how tall are you?

    Ha no problem.

I think it is a 2009/10 model, same design basis as the 2011 version but a few tweaks here and there, and I am 5'10''.
