Leading on from the prompt of the creme eggs, have any of you noticed that the size of said items is MUCH smaller than they used to be?

I have a colleague who's wife is a production manager in the Welsh burton's factory and she swears that they have not been "downsized" over the years.

I am equally insistant that when I was a kid they were the size of tea plates and yet today, you could hide one under a tea CUP!!!

She insists that it is because as a child they LOOK bigger because our hnds are smaller.

What a load of corporate "toffee!"

They have definaely shrunk in size and expanded in price size I was a lad i those mining valleys!!!!!

What do you think??? (Completely frivolous I know, but blame Guy for jogging my memory!!!)

    Yup, smaller.

    As is The Cutty Sark.

Used to go there as a kid and it was HUGE. Loads of places to run and hide in - used to take ages to go round it.

Now, its pretty unimpressive and small.

    Weird.

    Si

Re Wagon Wheels, it was the line "They're so big, you gotta grin to get them in" that used to crack us up. )

ww are only slightly smaller whereas cream (refuse to use creme)eggs ARE smaller (and you can buy them on boxing day!!!), as are choccy digestives, jaffa cakes, kit-kats, mars bars - in fact virtually everything is smaller

green and blacks choccy biscuits are rather yummy though........especially the ginger ones...........

WW are more than slightly smaller they're positively diminutive, jus like Curly Wurlys and Creme Eggs. Strange though that as a kid I could eat half a dozen WW one after another, now I have trouble eating one.

Can't eat 'em. They are not suitable for veggies.
