Thread: Where can I park overnight in the peak distict?

    Hi everyone,

    I need somewhere to park my car over night so i can do a circular walk to include kinder downfall, this will include a wild camp (sshhhh!)

    Anyone got any ideas?

    There's a pay and display but longest you can buy a ticket for is 24 hrs i think, there are a few free parking places outside the school but they're usually gone pretty quick.

    Parking on the whole in the PDNP is a bit crap with no long term parking anywhere, what i tend to do is ask a local farmer and give him the fee.

    You could also ask at Coopers campsite, i'm sure they'd let you park there for a fee.
