What a fab picture! In fact, it's so good it deserves a thread of its own and not to be buried in that Scarp thread.

Looks like you had a great day out

When was that actually taken Ian? It's just I'm heading to Glencoe this weekend and if I get a day half as good as that I'll be well chuffed!

    Thanks Kate.

Conditions on the top were perfect, I will (try) upload some more pictures from the day, they are perhaps not as good as this one but captures a great day out.

AT - this was taken on Saturday 27 Nov, day before was rained off, day after was a white out. Good luck with your Glencoe weekend.

    Great photo Ian

Our last attempt on that hill ended up with me blown off my feet looking like a flag on a flagpole holding onto my ice axe. Would love to get a day like yours to do it

Wow! Thanks Kate for putting it here. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

This shot is taken about 10 mins previous. As we hit the top the cloud lifted and allowed Ian to take his wonderful shot. We got a very nice brocken spectre but the batteries ran out on my camera!!!
