It's time once again for the little lady to get new boots. She is very dainty, with narrow feet and a high instep. Any suggestions for little people boots? Euro size 28.

I'm wondering about Scarpa Mowgli's as per here. My wife coughed and spluttered a bit over the price though. We'll go to local friendly shoe fitting people, but wondered if anyone had any bright ideas for things to look out for?

Just a little bump as my poor daughters feet have been relegated to the second page of latest posts. All thoughts gratefully received.

If all else fails it might be worth checking here. I had some boots made here a few years ago and was happy with them. Altberg

Whoops. Since posting I have read further and seen prices. Ridiculous for a child who will grow out of them soon. Sorry, it wasn't like that when I had mine made to measure.

Thanks for the suggestions. We'll be taking her to the boot shop on Saturday, will certainly consider the Scarpa's. I'll just need to hide the price tag from my wife!

I have just remembered that George Fishers do a second hand, part exchange service for kids boots.

We ended up getting her these Peter Storm boots from Blacks because her little feet posed too many problems anywhere else. We may have to take a look round some shops in the Lakes later in the year, but for next weekend at least she has suitable footwear for going up hills.

I might have a look at George Fisher if we're in the Lakes next time Josh is needing boots. He's nearly into adult sizes which is going to get painful on my wallet.
