    Not sure what time you got to princetown today hols but it was rather overcast misty and drizzly type weather when i was up there at just gone 10 this morn and stayed pretty like that for the whole walk, looks like it's clearing up abit now that im back home least in plymouth it is.

    is there a bus to Princetown? i thought it was another mystery of the moors.

    michael the number 82from plymouth or exeter tho only on a sunday or bank holiday monday. still think the best access point onto the moors by public transport is the train station at ivybridge

    Yeah, the 82-only 2 a day in the Winter and about5/6 a day in the Summer so not frequent. I think I'm going to have to try DW's advice next time and start at Ivybridge!

    Thanks Hols,

    I think Ivybridge is the best starting point for anyone using public transport, then walk the two moors way and up the Abbots way

    Oh and if either of you are heading onto the moors on wednesday or thursday i'm norm heading that way from plymouth on those days as its when im off work.

    I'm not too sure when in July I'll be doing the walk-I'll be going to a few uni open days around then so I'll have to fit in with them-I'm thinking mid/late July.

    Michael: I'm certainly going to start at Ivybridge next time! I've learnt my lesson lol

    Ooh, gosh, that's a big difference!! You definitely need to go to open days in that case! And don't forget you have to get your UCAS form in earlier for med schools than other courses. Best of luck.
