There. Edited that for you FB. For accuracy of course.

Also, be warned, the local stoats will pinch kit too.

    Like hats for example.

Another local stoat is known to stalk camp sites on two legs and will pinch anything alcoholic.

Are there stoats on Dartmoor? I'm sure we've all seen that big glow in the dark dog that roams around up there-no doubt about that

but are stoats a common neisance in the area?

Thanks guys for the bus info aboutthe 510 greyhound, just for infodo you know how muchthe fare is from Exeter to Okehampton?. I've actually seen wild ponies raid tents in the new forest and they can actually open the zips on the fly by hooking their heads under the door and lifting upwards clever things and they can get quite agressive, not sure if the dartmoor ponies would do the same for a pack of trail mix. Thanks for the compliments on meloosingweight, hope I can keep it off. Ps I'ma samuel and not a samantha incase you misunderstood my gender.

If you want route sugestions Fossil Bluff is probs the one to ask, im just getting back into the habbit of breaking out over the moors rather than following the major tracks like the loop out of princetown down to burrator and back up tho still do that one quite a bit on the bike. Would have thaught you could set yourself a nice route from princetown to ivybridge or vise versur tho obviously no good when you have the family out with you.

I was thinking of taking my brother on a nice lil route from Princetown-across to Hexworthy, up to laughter tor-to Postbridge through Bellever and maybe on to Fernworthy reservoir-I promised my Mum I wouldn't take my lil brother off the track-much to my dissappointment Or maybe we'll just jog down to Hart tor tors and back...

    Either way-should be fun

You make a better guide than me then Hols.

I can tell you where I start and finish but I'm rubbish at remembering place names, but good at remembering routes and how to read a map which comes in handy at times lol.

There's also a 510 at 6am from Exeter-if you need an early one (last time I got that one I had the whole bus to myself)
