GOOD TO SEE MY OLD CORPS DOING THE BUSINESS. CLIMBING CLIFFS AND UNARMED COMBAT IS WHAT THE ROYAL MARINES HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE 1664, AND LONG MAY THEY CONTINUE. PER MARE PER TERRAM.P

My first thought, when the Marines started their abseil, was "mind you don't put those windows through!" Famous last words! As I was being amused by the guy abseiling in flippers, followed by the guy abseiling on a mountain bike, I was caught on the hop fumbling for my camera when the next guy put the window through. What happened next? Well... a couple of NEC Security staff marched forwards... yeah really... and I wondered if they were going to get into a punch-up with the Marines over the window!

It was nice to start the event with a good laugh though Paddy - and the picture's raised a few more laughs since.

I think they should have supplied "His & Hers" press packs... especially if they're going to include a selection of "goodies". I mean... what's a bloke supposed to do with a Shewee?

what's a bloke supposed to do with a Shewee?

He could use it as a funnel when the (ahem) larger gentleman has a narrow-necked pee bottle?

I gave mine to Bearded Git's other half, but I totally agree - I'd have much prefered a half bottle of Bushmills or something similar ;-)

OK... I see now... so after you drink all the Bushmills... you use it as a pee bottle!

You've sort of got the idea, Paddy. The full procedure is as follows:

    Drink the Bushmills...
Use the Shewee as a funnel to fill an empty bottle of cheap booze...
Save the now-full bottle until Christmas...
With a good measure of festive cheer and best wishes for the season, donate said bottle to your local annoying chav...
Walk away with a feeling of satisfaction which is second only to the feeling you got when you started the process.

    Isn't recycling great, eh?

    :-)
