    Hi,
Myself and 3 friends are going to take 4 weeks worth of the GR10 and HRP this summer.
Is there anyone who has done this and has spare maps that we could use, in exchange for postage and a few beer tokens of course!

I have the carte de randonnees maps 2,3 and 4,
So im looking for 5 and 6

Also any advice for a newbie taking on this trek would be gratefully recieved.

    Thanks
    Matthew

Not sure what you mean by a newbie but if you have only walked in the uk then the major differences are
    1) ups and downs are much bigger - don't under estimate them
    2) Its a damn sight hotter every day

Try Stanfords (Longacre London) or Cordee (Leicester) for maps.

    thanks for the reply peter,
by newbie I mean only english walking experience, as for the physical demands of the walk we have planned our route against the trailblazer guide recomendations with a few extra days for rest and detours. The four of us are running 2 or 3 times a week now to build up fitness.

Thanks for the map shop recomendations, I have looked on stanfords, but thought it was worth a try to see if anyone has sapre maps as we are on a student sized budget!

    Thanks
    Matthew
