Seat Leon 1.6, but I rarely take it to meets - generally lift-share with Jez and the huge estate car!

    Skoda Octavia vRS Estate
    180 bhp, 142 max whack
    Who says Skodas are crap?
All the better for getting a 15% discount and 0% HP
Hoping to upgrade to the new 200 bhp version next year if haggling goes to plan

New Skodas are great - Octavia is based on the Passat, but again, at a fraction of the price

As I work for Northumberland County Council I get to drive nearly everything you can think of. A few weeks ago I was in aN Astra SRi (turbo diesel) but awesomely powerful and fast.

Later on this week I may have to take a Mercedes 2631 (26 ton) 6 wheel drive gritter for calibration.

We have an Astra SXi ourselves......, canny little car.
