Trail are doing an online subscription offer which does not appear in the magazine. It's for one of those Bothy bags, I've been after one so I have signed up for that. I've aready got head torches coming out my ears.

Hey, thanks. been waiting for a decent sub offer.

They offer a panset, a month after i buy a panset.

Then, after holding out for a head torch, i buy an alpkit one, and lo and behold what's this month;s offer?!

Handy, ive been after a bothy bag.

Just waiting for TGO to offer a decent offer that doesn't require a 2 year lump sum. Ideally a direct debit i won't notice and a free sigg bottle or pair of socks would do nicely.

Lucky you found it, I couldn't remember how to get to it. It's better than the magazine offes.

I have rung them and yes it is a 400, they are expecting the delivery on Friday, so if you have already ordered one they have not sent it out yet. I imagine they come from China or somewhere like that, but they said they only have a limited quantitiy which is why they have not put it in the magazine or on the greatmagazines site.
Well done for tracking it down!

Looks like I'll be subscribing to Trail for whatever the minimum period is then. Cheapest I can see online in a quick search is £34 so it looks like a decent deal.

You only get the stormshelter if you subscribe via www.trailroutes.com at £40.80 payable in quarterly Direct debit, if you want the stormshelter. Don't try and subscribe from anywhere else, cos you won't get the gift.

What are the Vango Storm Shelters like with too few people inside? I'm only likely to be up either with my girlfriend, or very possibly alone. Will a 400 be too big and flappy?

    Should I just buy a 200?
