Yes, I know this is quite some time away, but it will allow people enough time to book in advance, so we can all be at the same venue

The site has B&B, bunk house and camping available with a pub that offers reasonable food and a massive selection of malts

if you are interested just book yourself into your choice of accommodation and add your name below.

DO NOT mention a meet when booking in

    1)Chewie

2)Mrs Chewie. Both being soft in the B&B

It may be the weekend at the end of the half term, because it's the start of my Reading Week which is usually the week after school half term.

And because it's the start of Reading Week, I may well be up for this, depending on how things develop in the next few months!

Sykeside - we had a meet there in er.. about January 2007, it was the first time I met Jamie Bassnett. It was feckin' freezing and Bearded Git yelled obscenities at some moron who fired up his diesel car at about 5am to warm themselves up!

Schools around here are certainly on half-term the week prior to those dates Kate, back on Monday 31st.

With that in mind, I'll express our interest

Hi what was the date of the weekend away? It seems to have disappeared from the title of the thread. Or am I missing something?

Ros, if you click on 'Calendar' in the Forum options at the top of the page, you go to an actual calendar of meets!! The Sykeside meet is in there.

Oops thanks Kate. Did the old site have a similar calendar? I just used to go to the thread.

Nope, there was sometimes talk of a meet calendar being added to the old site, but it never happened. Another advantage of this new one!
