    .

I was looking at this OM TRby Harry (and also one posted a couple of years ago by -Dave- here ) and combining several of those hills east of Axe Edge offers plenty of routes for a day walk.

It's been a while since I walked south of Buxton and those little hills look very inviting indeed.

If anyone is interested in walking those hills for the day, add your name below and we can organise a mini-meet.

I don't have a free weekend until November 21-22 but that weekend and the following one are both fine.

Ooops! I should have said that it's one of your photos

The date isn't fixed yet - any weekend after mid-November except maybe 5-6 Dec

Very interested in attending as I'm sure my folks will be. Will check with them on their availability late November/early December.

Cheers for the heads up, Skip.

Yes I'm interested. From mid November on is fine but I'll need to consider specific dates.

Pete & I may be interested in this, depending on the date. We can do the weekends 21-22 Nov, Sunday 29 Nov, 5-6 December as the diary stands at the mo.

The gang from the Shallow Grave meet might want to revisit too

Definitely can't do 22nd. December is a possibility although not certain. I have ongoing commitments a couple of weekends a month which makes things like this more difficult to plan.

I haven't really given much thought to the precise route, Troggy. I don't know the area so I'm hoping other people will suggest routes. But a glance at the map suggests the main ridge is about two-and-a-half miles as the crow flies - so allowing for diversions to take in the summits a circular would be at least six or seven miles.
