    Nice. I've seen similar things due to the wind when kayaking but never as impressive as that. Usually just a part of the overflow getting blown back not the whole thing. I wonder what the wind speed was. Undoubtedly the wind was hitting the side and flowing up to the ledge causing the water effect so perhaps that is not going to be seen on other waterfalls as impressively. A pure coincidence with the wind speed, direction and topography.

    it often flow up that way but tends to give the appearance of smoke but certainly not been there in such strong winds.

    Ian,

    I saw the same things a few years ago and it was interesting to see, but I'm
    really not sure that something that happens reasonably often warrants national news coverage. If that was BBC I would suspect they were trying to hide other news
