    ... didnt like the look of that, had vertigo just watching it. Surely that must be one of the most exposed Munro routes?... top 3?...

    I've only done Liathach in full winter conditions with lots of snow.

    On a rope of course.

    As it was misty I missed out on the views.

    I think that's a Calange fleece that Muriel Gray is wearing. They were my favourite brand in the late eighties and nineties though not all their stuff was as 'colourful' as that.

    I've still got some of their catalogues somewhere

    Cracking mountain day - I've only done it in winter. If you don't like the look of that, I'd steer clear of An Teallach - it's a fantastic ridge traverse but spectacularly exposed in parts. There was gibbering...
