The glow in the dark Bananaguards are good, especially in the dark.

    Primaloft duvet:

    - not as susceptible to moisture as the fill doesn't collapse as badly when wet
    - won't leak insulation if damaged; uses matted insulation
    - doesn't require through-stitching, so no cold spots
    - garment life for a climbing jacket is determined by the durability of the face fabric, so the shorter life of synthetic fills not as important as with a sleeping bag
    - easier to care for
    - compresses almost as well as down
    - snuggly like down
    - cheaper

Although the reason I mentioned Buffalo /Mardale is because I basically want something that can hide in my sac and be used as an extra layer to keep me warm when I stop on the top of hills for lunch etc
but I have heard that buffalo doesn't pack down all that well

If only I hadn't spent £20 on BananaGuards...and £200 to get the cat's teeth sorted out.

yeah - he was useful for that, now he's got no front teeth he just runs around with his tongue hanging out, dribbling. Useful for licking stamps though....
