We're aware that we have some significant issues with forum functionality and there's a list of stuff waiting to be be addressed - really there is - but it would be very helpful if folk could take a few minutes to list glitches they're aware of so I can ensure that they're included in the overhaul.

    Thanks

    Jon

The edit function. It's there and it works, but when you click send after editing it doesn't take you back to the thread/post, just to your edited post page.

    Edit: testing edit.

    Yup, still doing it.

    yeah yeah

surely the tech guys should already know what the problems are seeing as they created them?

The Inbox is listing old messages in any old random order instead of date order - this happened a couple of days ago.

No notifications of new PMs being received.

    Re Youtube,

I used to be able to post a link using the 'tree' icon, select external source, and paste the URL. It hasn't worked for about a year?

Also, my comment box is missing the 'hyperlink' icon. I have to post the whole link, unless i go down the longhand route, and i can't be arsed.

    IE7.

Ed H is desperate for my Osmonds videos.

Hyperlinks and youtube via the "add image/video are both working for me in Firefox.

Ads on tablets are obscuring the text, jumping around, moving up n down the page. Don't mind ads but not when they are plastered all over the thread.

Still can't use OM on my htc explorerer smart phone.

Re MK's point, the inbox is grouped by sender, not by date and that makes it really annoying to go through looing for the new message.

Using firefox I've been unable to post links for some time, used to work a treat.

I'd largely given up trying, but here we go...

Posting a video from Youtube using Firefox:

    Posting a link.

    Edit: those both worked fine.

Edit 2: so did the editing. Now, who won the Keen caption competition, because the Results Publication Facility appears unreliable.
