To be honest, Hanging Rock is just a big Rock with a brass plaque underneath. Ludds Church is more of a mystical experience, plus it has it's own micro-cllimate.

Very glad we're not going tomorrow - the weather forecast is awful.

Ludds Church is a mystical, very beautiful, spiritual place. Can't wait to see it again

Couldn't agree more on that point.

    Mick C,

Unfortunately I am unable to message you. I have emailed OM support for advice. I would love a lift please. Text/ring me nearer the time.

    Thanks

    Simon

    Lifts required?

Only a few days left to organise lifts / pick-ups. Who still needs one?

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, (plus a few new faces). Thankfully, Mick C offered to give me a lift up to the start point. If everyone can congregate at the bottom end of the car park that would be great.

    See you there.

I may have a few baked goods too

Has everyone without transport sorted lifts to the start point now?

Just to confirm, we have agreed to assemble from 9am for a 9.30 start at The Three Horseshoes, Buxton Road, Blackshaw Moor, Leek

Looking forward to seeing y'all on Sunday - hopefully in dry weather - for an enjoyable walk at a good brisk pace

There could be a couple of extra peeps, but they haven't got back to me yet.

And the drums begin to beat a slow repeating thud as the countdown begins...

I hope they're brisk and tireless?

I'll soon be switching off the computer and setting off for the weekend. See you all on Sunday morning. I'll have my mobile on if you need to get in touch.
