This is a challenging walk/scramble starting near Barber Booth Viaduct and climbing up to Kinder South Edge via Grindsbrook Clough, Once on the plateau we make for Jaggers Clough where we descend to valley floor. We then return along the valley side via Edale YH back to Barber Booth car park. Please see link for more details. http://www.ramblers.co.uk/walksfinde....php?id=378547

Is this a walk organised by the Ramblers? If so, can anybody just turn up?

This is a Leek Ramblers walk. We welcome walkers from different groups. The longer, monthly walks tend to attract a smaller following as they are more challenging and are usually between 10 and 12 miles.

Start of the walk is the free car park just up the lane from Barber Booth, just beyond the rail viaduct on the way to Upper Booth, map ref. 1060 8480.

    Skip,

For some reason I can't message you? There doesn't appear to be a message box. I can type in the subject and recipient, but then it is blank. Hey ho. Re the grid refs, the walk isn't mine so the info is relayed from a third party. Sorry about the inaccuracies.
