    ROWLOCK

    It is also a masonry shape

    Look at window ledges when the bricks lie on their side end pointing out or it can be a shaped curve decrotive feature and I think also on an arch when the brick/stone is positioned same as when you have a keystone at top but does not have to have the keystone.

    Believe it, or not, I studied ('read', don't yer know) architecture when at college for the first time. But I am totally knackered, so I'll try to engage bits of grey matter in the morning - well, some other time. But thanks, speed.

    Not done architecture but dad was an architect.
