    (I'm still buzzin')
Oh the fame of setting up a meet (and a cool thread)
Could this be a new Bennachie thread??

In a moment of madness I thought I would see who the posts were shared amongst.

Bad move, but there is a clear winner as far as I can see

Chewie. Stats? Who shares the post most? Hmm. Doesn't matter much, we're all on the same journey.I know that I can 'roam' the forum aimlessly (only on occasion, 'onest guv).

    Confused, already.

I hope the waters are calm in Tewks, Chewie, and not rising.

You'd probably have had a worse passage back this weekend Paul, (husky).

    Best wishes to all.

    Chewie, DGAS, only messing

Pete, passage wasn't that bad, I've been in worse. It was only 'storm' force, hurricane force winds are much more fun.

The Irish Sea can be a bit rough, (fast ferries are cancelled quite often), delays in docking are not uncommon, that to me is part of travelling and part of the fun of theexperance.

I enjoyed the weekend, knew what could happen when travelling. It won't stop me coming back.

All beening well, I'll be at Coniston next year.

Currently High tide here, no worse than normal, but not sure if we will get a sping tide. A lot depends on the Welsh - What falls on them tends to head our way via the river 24 to 48 hours later.

Think I should move to a hill

Yeah, good point about what falls in Wales arriving up a street near you in the following day(s).

Can you get those as flat-packs in B&Q? Or is it 'all your own work'?

Do the crew have to come in twos? Or is there a job for a single, skinny, balding ol' git?
    (I am a rare-breed, so I'm told)

Flood defences are going up in Bewdley, wont affect us too much thankfully. Had a short wild wet and windy walk with the lad I look after every other saturday, he doesnt mind the rain.
I'm not a good carpenter but can put together a flatpack

If you have seen the advert - thats your competition

It would be like staying in a barn - so all candidates would have to be good company, prepared to muck in and muck out,
