I lent my handicraft designer troos to Maria and they were lost in deepest Cairngorms They're easily identified if anyone finds them - Berghaus with lots of Tenacious tape

LMM, what Paramo's have you bought? I was thinking of getting a pair to match my Alta II jacket. Cascada's?

    Simon,

I have Cascada's but I find them really warm. I like them, but they are a little inflexible because they are so warm.

Yup, Simon that fits with my experience.

    They are pretty tough though

Just undo the full length zips.

Admit they are far to warm and I only tend to use them in winter or when I know the weather is going to be Monkish (met the man last night, interesting)

Cascada - them's the ones! Bloomin marvellous, I wear them every day now (walking the dog). I was worried i'd get too warm but like Frank says you can just lower the zips....

I have hot legs (whoo hoo) but have not once suffered from being too hot!

    I LOVE THEM!!!!!!

Actually the Cioch version is better in that you get reinforced patches on the knees and ankles for climbing etc

I got some of them years ago when i was in Skye and my 'normal' waterproofs ripped, but they certainly feel much warmer than my Paramo's (and are too big for me now anyway!) I can wear them with safety pins.....

Thanks for trouser info. I've got a pair of Rustly Rab Bergens, but I fancy some Cascada's so I can sneak around in stealth mode.
