If I decide not to do the 100 miler that weekend then I may pop over but I'll crash in the cottage up the hill as it's free for me, then come and blag food and whisky.

    Sounds good LLM,

If I can I will, how soon do you need to know to book Barn?

Can you "camp" if not inside?

I'm not sure what way work may be then. Is it possible to just 'turn up' and camp?

I'd bring food and "water of life" if I can make it

There's no camping outside Paul - we get grief from the parks people. The hut can hold up the 30 people, which is way too many for the facilities but certainly feasible and allowed

There is however a great campsite just down the road, maybe half a mile and that's £6 a night. So there is a final solution if needed..

    Tnx Kelvin.

I'll try my best to make it.

PS. Does Barn have an Attic?

Thanks Kelvin.... and I agree re the facilities, so for the comfort of all involved I have restricted this 'Meet' to 20 places only.... so roll up, roll up, get your name down.

I will confirm definite places nearer the time but spaces will be offered to those on the list in date order..... Ican confirmi have already paid the deposit and booked the barn as i have no doubt there will be at least 8 people including myself...... yay!

Does anyone know if there is a bus, train, from Liverpool, that goes near by?

That would be the way I'd be travelling from Belfast. Don't have a car and want to check prices to see what's cheapist.

    Hire car or public transport.

Is there no ferry to Holyhead from Belfast, Huskyman? If not, I may be able to swing by and pick you up from Scouse. It's the least I could do after the shenanagins in Eire

    Mini Mal,

I think I'd have to go to Dublin for the Holyhead ferry.

One more option to think about.

I'll have to start searching for cheap fares.

Thanks for offer of lift, I'll let you know.

BTW. What Irish shennagins? You get upto something after we dropped you off?

OK, looking at fares to get to Wales, my best option is to go to Dublin and get the ferry to Holyhead.

I need to check how I get to Chapel Curig from there. I'll get back and let you know.

Right I'm baffelled, can't find if I can get to Capel Curig from Holyhead.

The place names are in Welsh, and don't mention CC.

Would I have to travel to some place else to get to CC?

    Can our Welsh OMer's help?

That may be because it's Capel Curig, not Chapel!

Huskyman, I was thinking of our automobile adventure

I can pick you up from Holyhead if you like. What time would your ferry get in?
