Lasting waterproofness being the main factor, full leather preferred and not going to break the bank, so £70-£100 preferably.
Main use will be in the Peaks with a fair amount of bog hopping and mainly off path use, and i hate wet feet, especially if i'm wildcamping.
Over the past couple of years i've gone with cheap and cheerful £30-£50 jobbies that tend to last 6 months or so of fair use before they head for the bin and i'm not adverse to doing so again, but if there's something else that would fit the bill in my price ranget hat have lasted you a fair bit longer i might aswell pay the extra.
I know it's all about fit etc but if there's a range that have given you good service i'd at least have some idea where to start looking.
No wellie recommendations and i'm not into waterproof socks, won't be doing much in way of rock hopping so soles don't have to be bombproof.
Atm i'm thinking Brasher hillwalkers but i've never used them before so open to anything.
