As a member of a Search and Rescue Dog Association (albeit as a dogsbody and not a handler), I resent being labelled part of David Cameron's 'Big Society' (grrrr icon)

Well, he'd certainly have beaten Cameron in the ring!

Is he as articulate as most politicians? If so, he'll probably be fine.

I dunno, old Cammy probably did a bit of the Old boxing with the chaps at Eaton. And as long as he stays out the way of Prezzas first couple of haymakers he can get stuck in while he's getting his breath back.

Of course the you know the only way to solve this don't you......FIGHT

Great idea. Can we then have Godzilla v Cameron and Predator v Prescott?

    Regardless of who would win...

This from Mr Rambler strikes me as hopelessly nieve:

that he would be 'astounded if anybody is going to push forward a scheme that simply puts unnecessary barriers in front of public access and enjoyment of our countryside".

As if Cameron gives a flying monkeys. 'Git auff my laaaaand you horrible theiving rabble'....

Not like that nice Mr Benn

Stansgate Abbey farm, the Benn family seat on the Blackwater estuary, is currently occupied by veteran left-winger Tony Benn.

Last week ramblers complained there was no public right of way across it - despite the fact that Hilary Benn's department wants to open all of England's coastline to walkers.

    (note article from pre-election)

Those nice Mr Benn's, as you put it, also said:

Mr Benn insisted: "In implementing the legislation, Natural England will look at how to deal with the issue of coastal access where it involves people's back gardens, hotels on the beachfront, etc. My father's house and garden will be treated in exactly the same way as everyone else's in the same situation."

His father said: "We will do whatever the legislation says."

    So what's your point?

I reckon a lot of these Eton chaps have been beaten in the ring.

    Fnarrrr

    My point?

    you said:

'As if Cameron gives a flying monkeys. 'Git auff my laaaaand you horrible theiving rabble'....'

I was just pointing out that the idea that wealthy people denying access to their land is not confined to Tories. I know for a fact Tony Benn works hard to deny access to his land, have you any evidence to support your stereotyping of David Cameron?

    lol @Mike!

No his point is probably in the sarcasm of the first bit as he thinks I'm a labour/left-wing supporter. Actually, I hate all politicians. Hmmm, damn, I mean I hold all of them in utter contempt. Because they all sh*t on the rest of us in one way or another.

Looks like a class attack, smells like a class attack.....hmmm probably is a class attack!

Now you may be right and he could be a one of those annoying landowning gits who will do anything to keep you off his land, but you appear to have no more idea than me.

I'm a big evidence fan, must be my love of BBC4.

Although I do share your healthy scepticism of political types! Especially those who have never had a real job!
