I don't care where it is, but there will be an OM meet from 28th April - 2nd May 2011.

i've just had a thought - how about getting out of the country.

Does anyone fancy a Macgillycuddy's Reeks meet in Kerry? They're fab hills, great walking and of course great craik.

David - just say the word and you could have all the OMers who want to escape that event that is happening about that time turning up on your doorstep expecting you to lead walks!!

Ifanyone cares toorganise a meet that weekend, count me in.

I'll be in a bad mood mind, Cameron gives everyone a day off, but hes not offering to pay the days wages for my six employees is he?

I'll be up for something if it's in Scotland. I don't fancy paying a premium for getting to Ireland or elsewhere, given it's half term too.

And less than a week after Easter, so definitely high/busy season for lots of destinations, plus the travelling

How about a long meet - Good Friday to May Bank Holiday. Eleven days but only three working weekdays on which to take leave.

Wouldn't be able to manage that unless was near home. If I need to travel to Mainland UK can cost quite a lot of money. I'd need to accout for flights and car hire, etc.

You do all realise that whether it's the Reeks, Lakes or Scotland, I still have to travel bl**dy miles to get there? You guys don't know how easy you have it!
