Just got back from this 60 odd mile route around Blairgowrie. I highly recommend the Trail. Lucky with the weather. Lots of deer and buzzards. Stopped one night at the Log Cabin Hotel ,Kirkmichael, grass roofs, out of the way and a great view from the bar.

SD.A short walk through the forest behind the hotel would have taken you past a good many grass roofed cabins. Some very luxurious ones too.I
like the walk through to Spittal.Cheers Waldo
