Well being a sheff utd fan our neanderthal neighbours (swfc v palace) put on a nice display last week that's probably cost our city any hope of hosting world cup games, i bet leeds are still suffering stomach cramps laughing.

I though United had more away fans at home matches

You shouldn't be embarrassed by that, Paul.......................................you should be shot.

BTW, it seems that CCFC fans face the coming play offs final with little confidence and a great deal of trepidation.

Not deserting to the round balls game Kate?

Tangerines all the way! Blackpool to those who have no idea. Have to Lancashire lad through and through (well half folks from Liverpool but they were in Lancashire when grew up so Lancashire at heart). I don't remember living anywhere else. Even my student days in Leeds I don't remember probably explains how I only just got my degree. Hazy days.

I can't believe it, Plackpool in the Premiership! Who'd have thought it back in the 80s and 90s. I remember a lot of 80s local club games being postpones a lot due to show and ice. Apart from the few astro turf ones. Or was that in the 90s? I was a kid anyway.

Blackpool In the Premiership! STill can't believe it.

They're not there yet TTG, they've got to beat Cardiff in the final! And be careful what you wish for, it ain't all it's cracked up to be! And that's not me being bitter because we got relegated! Don't get me wrong it the win at Wembley was great as was the first half of the first season. But once you start struggling it's very hard to compete although in fairness Stoke, Birmingham and Wolves have done very well. Good luck to whoever makes it!

That's pathetic really. How can a team who only get an average home attendance of 8000 be in the Premiership!?

Compare that to Leicester/Forest/Cardiff who get over 20,000 nearly every match!

i thought it was points that win prizes and not how many people watch.

change that, you think you may have enough points but despite being significantly better than teams below youmay not get promoted for your efforts. it would be fairer if they put the 3rd relegated premiership side into the play-offs too.

i remember when blackpool were in the first division...ye gods that's a while ago.
