    Just tried searching for this pack, no hits, seems its actually called the Lowe alpine Houdini rather than Illusion.

    Hmm, quite neat looking and a good price, but 280g for 16 litres only strikes me as ok, not great. Of course if you're prepared to pay almost twice the price you could get 20 litre capacity in a pack with more features for a mere 210 grams....

    Another good option for a light, no frills daypack, is the 25LGolite Ion.Made from bombproof Dyneema, so fine for scrambling with. Enough room for a lightweight overnighter too.

    Like the look of the Golite Mike...well, I like the look of the spec of the golite, not the actual look of course.

    You've got to hand it to Golite, they know how to make an ugly pack.
