Alpkit Alpine Dream 700 sleeping bag, short length, with full-length left zip. I'm 5'7" and the short length is absolutely fine for me - you could probably go for another inch and be ok, but no more. OM reviews here. Been used for about 4 weekends, in top condition, no damage, no marks. Comes with own compression sack. Has always been stored loose in a roomy storage sack.

Excellent piece of kit, selling because of that Minim 500 lofting upstairs!

£65 +p+p ONO. Or if you're anywhere near South Wales, you can collect.

Well, I'm being extremely pretentious here, but AD700 is actually AUC MCCCCLIII.

And many thanks, Your Majesty, for the gracious bump

Kate Im being serious here for a change.Does the MCCCCLIII actually make AD700 or does it make 653 meaning from AUK not AD if you follow me I remember Roman dates follow the beginning of Rome or something ie. AUK. Thanks

Waldo, AUC is ab urbe condita - from the foundation of the city (of Rome). It was one of the two dating systems the Romans used, the other being the names of the two consuls who held power in each year. Rome was founded in 753 BC, so MCCCCLIII, or 1453, does make AD700. Ironically 1453 was the year Constantinople fell and thus can be regarded as the end of the Roman Empire.

    Here endeth the lesson.
