    im lucky enough to own two terra nova tents , so one has to go .

    i dont have any photos of this tent as i havnt used it since i bought it on here

    the tent was originally purchased from the link below

    http://www.ellis-brigham.com/cgi-bin...Det.cgi/231299

    IIRC the guy i bought it from had only used it a couple of times but his family was expanding and he needed a bigger tent

    this is in excellent , nearly new condition

    id like back what i gave for it , so 240 , i'll stand the paypal fees and postage

    thanks for looking

    Firstly i am not saying 240 isn't a reasonable price BUT as i already have 4 TN tents i will offer 175, yet i hope you get the sum you are asking!

    just an update for Nicki on shipping costs

    single 2.5kgs package to Austria 35.99

    but

    package up to 2kgs 11.11

    package up to 1kgs 6.11

    so if you dont mind having it split into two packages then this isthe cheapest option.

    so its yours for 240 if you still want it

    PS. Nicki .your private messaging is'nt working

    Mel,

    When you bought the tent did you erect it and check everything was ok? I don't mean to sound rude, but if i'm buying a 3rd hand tent that hasn't been used by the 3rd owner, then i'm going to be slightly concerned that you are relying on the previous owners description of quality.

    I'm tempted but i'd like to see it first, either a photo or in person depending on where you are in the uk. It shouldn't take that long to put up, sorry to seem pushy but i've never bought anything off a forum or ebay etc that doesn't have some photos to show the condition. Each individual might have different ideas of "excellent" and "nearly new"

    Like i said sorry to seem rude but if its upwards of 200 with no comebacks then i'd like a bit more info, pictures etc. I'd like to be able to trust people selling but i've been stung so many times on ebay over things that are not as described, which ruins it for everyone else.

    300 delivered brand new from outdoorkit, so i would be looking at 200 delivered for a 3rd hand version.

    Cheers

    Ian

    hi Ian

    I dont consider you rude at all , or pushy , for that matter .

    you will notice that ive had a couple of offers for the tent , but it has stopped there .offers with no follow up . now thats RUDE !

    i also had an offer from nicki , again with no response or follow up . i also gave him the quotes that i got for shipping to Austria , with a choice of postage. was rather hoping that we could share the cost .

    ill get some photos sorted

    yes i did erect the tent and gave it a good looking at

    you are more than welcome to come and have a look , fetch cash

    I live near Grimsby and ive got a large shed where the tent could be erected

    the prices of these tents seem to have come down recently , and i think that T/N have started to import from the far east in order to bring down the prices

    if you would like to contact me 07746930125

    with kind regards

    Mel

    Grimsby is probably a bit far for me as i'm down in somerset. I am interested but i'm waiting for another forum member to get back to me about a macpac tent, If the sale doesn't materialise i'll be in touch about your tent.

    I'm sure with some nice photos someone will buy your tent, if i don't first! from the reviews i've seen all over the web it is one of the best tents around. If indeed the manufacturing is now taking place in the far east, the quality may be affected. I've noticed many items in work and recreation that suffer from cheap overseas manufacturing (not all though), so it might bebeneficial getting an older model.

    Cheers

    Ian
