Hi All,

Just finished the West Highland Way but was plagued again by blisters - I seldom suffer from blisters when tackling a munro. I typically wear wear Salewa Alp trainer mids or Scarpa R Evo plus with bridgedale socks.

Recently I've tried Gehwol cream, Injinji toe-liner socks, thinner bridgedale socks, walking with and without liner socks, surgical spirits.......

I noticed that within 30 mins of walking on day 2 of the WHW that my socks were wet due to sweat (it was a dry day and my boots were dry when I put them on). Anyone else experience this and if so what did you do to tackle the issue?
