I'm sure it'll be good. It was professionally filmed rather than "self filmed" with teams from Sky and Bravo out there with them, and Guy Clarkson (National Geographic etc etc)leading the film team on the mountain.

Pity it's not on a decent channel that us poor Freeview punters could watch as well

I'm sure I remember something being said about Channel 4 having a mini series from the same expedition, I'll try and find out when.

Cheers Dave. I spoke to a member of the expedition's medical team when he came down to London to give a presentation, and he told me Bravo were screening an Army on Everest series sometime this autumn. I wasn't sure when though - good job you're more on the ball.

I can't wait to see the finished result, and just hope I kep out of the picture successfuly lol. When they filmed the interview with Dave at his house I was sat behind the cameramantrying to keep silent, then during the gaps I'd feed him more questions to ask. At the packing at Hereford the film crew were everywhere and the website team were constantly trying to keep out of the way while getting interviews/statistics etc.....hopefully there's only a few seconds coverage of that and it's concentrated on the mountain.

Oh and it is the series......but there should also be another production sometime, following the raw recruits as they went off to do Island Peak.
