Just spoke to Steve Perry at 10am, Friday.

Might have guessed - after a couple of snowbound days in the Cluanie he's now going strong again and racking 'em up.

Wednesday he knocked off A' Chralaig and Mullach Fraoch-choire.

Yesterday it was Sail Chaorainn, Sgurr nan Conbhairean and Carn Ghlusaid.

Today he's heading out of the Inn to Cam Ban bothy via Ciste Dubh, which will be Munro number 220.

Steve reports waist-deep snow on the summits, knee-deep elsewhere and some "massive" cornices on ridges.

No snow falling at the moment though.

Very brief phone call but he sounded to be in very good spirits and says he's some fine pics of the hills under snow.

For those who haven't followed the story, Steve's attempting the first continuous winter traverse of all the Munros, to raise funds for Cancer Research.
