Has Judy done a review of womens lightweight 3 season waterproofs? I confess I don't read TGO every month, although I normally check out the cover and buy it when it contains lots of stuff I like (like this months brilliant edition).

I really enjoyed her review of winter jackets but they are out of my price league and a bit overkill.

I'd love to see a review of the new Montane Superfly for women, the Rab Vidda jacket and perhaps some more budget options. It is difficult to find these jackets in shops and so a review cuts the choice down for online ordering and makes it a bit less risky!

    Hi there,

In March 2005 Judy reviewed women's waterproofs, although not specifically lightweight 3 season models.

Best Buy was the Haglofs Helium Q (£300), and Recommended were North Face Atmosphere XCR (£200), Mountain Hardware Tenacity (£260), Arc'Teryx Theta SL (£265), Berghaus Siula (£200) and Thaw Treka (£130).

For lightweight, I like my Berghaus Paclite Women's Jacket, currently reduced to £99 from £140 at Cotswold online.

Or, if anyone wants a new BH Women's Paclite jacket, size 10, I've got one going for £60...

That's a major bargain for someone! They're really good jackets :-)
